đŸ« BRANDON WENERD đŸ« PUBLISHER + WRITER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR đŸ« BROBIBLE.COM

who is this guy?

Brandon Wenerd is a writer, publisher, and creative director who has been in the digital media content mines for over 15 years. He is the longtime publisher of BroBible.com.  He oversees partnerships and monetization for a brand that has generated tens of billions of pageviews and social media impressions.

He's also a Substack writer (The Wenerd Weekly) and a podcaster (The Mostly Occasionally Show). Professionally, he’s worked with hundreds of brands to bring their marketing vision to life on BroBible, including Nike, SharkNinja, Dockers, 5-hour ENERGY¼, Sony Pictures, VooDoo Ranger, Solo Stove, Eight Sleep, Tecovas, Netflix, and more.

He’s a jack-of-all-online-trades, but he likes being a writer the best.

He grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Penn State, planning to become an English teacher. Instead, he pivoted to the wild west of the blog-era internet, beginning his writing career while living at Owl Farm, the Colorado compound of the late Hunter S. Thompson, where he helped put together a book of Hunter’s interviews in 2009, Ancient Gonzo Wisdom.

From there, he moved to New York City to help build BroBible from its days as a scrappy startup in SoHo, eventually landing in Los Angeles, where he currently lives.

At BroBible, his human-focused stories and interviews have helped define the brand's voice. His work includes in-depth conversations with a wide range of cultural figures, from sports legends like John Madden, Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce, Jim Irsay, Shaun White, John Urschel, Russell Westbrook, and John McEnroe; media personalities like Michelle Beadle and Katie Feeney; to Hollywood mainstays like Miles Teller, Todd Phillips, John Cena, Gerard Butler, and Frankie Muniz; and musicians like Derek Trucks, Nelly, G-Eazy, Del McCoury, and A$AP Rocky. He’s written viral essays about the return of Hunter S. Thompson's stolen antlers and recorded podcasts about how the New York Times cited BroBible for the origin of “bros icing bros.” His work has been featured in Business Insider, VICE, HuffPost, Ad Week, Slate, and more.

He hopes to publish his first book soon-ish.

...And he understands you only read 10% of all that.

Follow him on Instagram, Substack, YouTube, Threads, TikTok, and X. He’s particularly into the whole Substack thing right now.
